We’ll help you start a business.
We’ll also tell you when not to.
Find one that fits your hours, your money and your city. Build the whole thing — brand, shop, suppliers, first customers. Then run it.
Sign in with Google. No card. Your own Stripe, Shopify and Meta accounts — ONE never holds your money.
It does the arithmetic you were going to skip.
Every other tool starts after you’ve decided. ONE starts before — and the first thing it does is work out what one order is actually worth to you after the card fee, the shipping label, the packaging, the returns and the cost of finding the customer.
That number is usually smaller than people expect, and knowing it early is worth more than any template. It’s why ONE will sometimes tell you a product priced at $28 that costs you $19 delivered cannot absorb a $37 cost of finding each customer — before you order stock, not after.
At full price an order keeps $36.80 after the goods and the card fee. This code takes more than that off, so the more you sell, the more you lose.
Find it. Build it. Operate it.
Most tools start after you’ve already figured everything out, and stop at the thing they sell. ONE starts at the question and stays long after the doors are open. Inside each part, you choose what to do and when — plenty of people have the shop taking orders before they register anything, and that’s a legitimate way to start a company.
Find
Bring an idea, or none. Talk it through or fill in a form. Leave with a shortlist matched to your hours, your money, your skills and your city — and see exactly what each one would involve before you commit to any of it.
Build
A playbook written for your business. A name that's actually free, a logo and brand kit, suppliers shortlisted with the outreach email written, a real shop on your own domain taking cards through your own Stripe, and the exact paperwork for your state — started in whatever order suits you.
Operate
Orders from every channel, labels at cost, stock, customers, invoices, cash, and the people who work with you. One ledger under all of it, a Digital Twin that replaces each guess with a fact as it learns, and a weekly brief that says what to change next.
A real store, on your own address, whenever you’re ready for it.
Built from your brand kit, served live so stock is never stale, and priced server-side so the browser’s opinion about money is ignored entirely.
Point yourname.com at your shop and customers never see ours. The certificate renews itself; ONE gives you the exact two lines to add at your registrar.
Every product gets its own address, its own title and description, and the structured data Google reads — plus a sitemap, so a brand-new shop gets found rather than waiting.
Make a code and ONE tells you what an order keeps after it. A 55%-off code on a typical basket doesn't say "saved!" — it says this loses $16.61 every time somebody uses it.
Most people who open a checkout don't complete it. ONE writes once, the next day, only to those who ticked the box — with the postal address and working unsubscribe US law requires.
Checkout prices every line from your catalogue and re-checks stock, so the page can tempt someone with the last one but never sell it twice.
Buy postage at commercial rates, tracking goes to the customer automatically, returns handled in the same place.
One screen that says what needs you.
Orders from your shop, Shopify and the phone all land in the same place. Stock moves itself. Cash is always current because nothing is typed twice.
Add your first hire and give them a login. Managers run the day to day; staff take orders and count stock and cannot see finances, margins or anyone's pay but their own.
Every week: what happened, what moved, and the two or three changes worth making — from your real numbers, not a template.
A sale recorded once moves the stock, the cash, the customer record and the forecast. The reason the numbers are still right in month six is that nobody had to keep them right.
Every number starts as a guess and ends as a fact.
When you commit, ONE gives your business first-guess numbers: price, cost, volume, fixed costs, start-up cash. Each one is labelled an assumption.
Then real life replaces them. A supplier quote replaces the cost guess. Your first ten sales replace the price and volume guesses. An ad campaign replaces the marketing guess. Each becomes measured — and the forecast, the weekly brief and every proposal move with it.
Most platforms answer this with an export button.
Everything you build on a shop platform — your catalogue, your orders, your customers, the numbers behind them — lives in that company’s database on that company’s terms, and what you can take with you is a CSV. ONE’s default is the same, because for most people it should be. The difference is that it isn’t the only arrangement on offer.
ONE keeps it
Your business lives in ONE's database, backed up and patched by ONE. Export the whole thing as one file whenever you like, and delete the account yourself without emailing anyone.
You keep it
Your plan, your numbers, your suppliers' terms and your customers are written to a Postgres you created and pay for. ONE stores none of it — take the key away and there is nothing left of yours to ask about.
You run all of it
ONE on a machine you control, talking to a database you control. Nothing reaches anyone else, because in this one there is nobody else. Upgrades, backups and certificates become yours, which is a real cost and worth saying out loud.
One thing ONE won’t tell you: that it can’t see your data. Any platform that renders your shop can read what it renders, and that goes for this one. Storing nothing of yours and being unable to read anything of yours are different promises, and only the first is one a hosted product can keep. The second needs the third column, where there is no us in the sentence at all.
Then most of this page isn’t for you.
You don’t need help choosing a business. You need to know which products are carrying the others, where the time goes and what to change next — from the numbers you already have.

Early access costs nothing and needs no card. There will be a paid plan — we haven’t set the price yet, and we’ll tell you well before anything changes. Nothing is ever charged without you agreeing to it first.
The ones worth asking first.
Does ONE hold my money?
No. Payments run through your own Stripe account under Stripe's terms — ONE never touches the funds, and you keep the account if you ever leave.
Will it tell me what I'm going to earn?
No, and be careful of anything that does. ONE shows you what the arithmetic produces from the figures you enter and published benchmarks it cites on the page. It has no data on what its users earn and makes no claim about it.
What if I already have a Shopify store?
Connect it. Orders and stock sync both ways, and ONE's diagnosis re-runs on your real sales rather than on guesses.
Do I need to be technical?
No. The hardest thing you'll do is copy two lines into your domain registrar, and ONE shows you exactly what they are.
Where does my business information go?
Into ONE's database by default, and to Anthropic when ONE writes something for you — they don't train on it. If you'd rather it sat in a database you own, or on a machine you run, both are arrangements ONE will set up with you: ask. The privacy policy names everything either way, including the two shared directories your use contributes de-personalised entries to.
Is it only for the US?
For now, yes. The tax, registration and shipping guidance is US-specific, and guessing at other countries would be worse than saying so.
Be one of the first to build with ONE.
Early access is free. We’re building it with the first owners — you’ll talk to the people making it, and what you need shapes what comes next.
